  • Contesting my Grandmothers will

My Grandmother died 12 days before she was 102. My sister and I then found out 4 months previous she had left everything to a neighbour £500,000. The neighbour and her husband had changed their surnames before moving into the area. They have told lies and we can prove that. Now my solicitor after paying a lot of money doesn’t think or it is very difficult to prove that it was coercion from the neighbour. Though it will be my word against hers. I was even told by my sister that this neighbour was having my grans pension put into her own bank account. Time is off the essence please help and advice!

The situation you describe has a strong aroma.

My advice is to consult that solicitor and instruct him or her to take action. Do you have legal expenses insurance with any of your various home or motor policies?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
