Would really appreciate some guidence on an issue with Probate.
Both Executors appointed a Solicitor to handle probate about a year and a half ago (fees to be taken out of Estate). There are 2 Executors/Beneficiaries on the will, who basically despise one another (will was written a long time ago). One wants probate to go ahead one does not just out of spite.
The solicitor does not reply to emails requesting updates, I have no idea what they have actually done, when I have spoken they promise action and are very amenable but nothing progresses, I feel now that they have just been fobbing me off, for what reason I have no explanation. No idea on their charges so far or been re-imbursed for invoices I have paid out for the estate.
Is there any action I could take to get things moving? As I believe the estate will just continue to go to disrepair which is so sad.
