Step father retaining my inheritance

My mother died in Spain 2 years ago, she always told me her money in Jersey would come to me, I'm an only child. My step father who has withdrawn from me since her passing has said there isn't anything left, but would like to send me some money, the only way he could do that is from Mum's money, can I do anything?

First of all, Was your Mother resident in Spain and did she make a Spanish Will that was registered in Spain? Do you have a copy of her Will or anything connected with her passing, such as a letter of wishes?
