Foreign Inheritance

I hold a copy of a foreign will of a recently deceased person who lived in the UK. According to the will I am the beneficiary of the foreign estate, but in the UK Will, not a beneficiary (or Executor) of the UK estate. Should the foreign inheritance costs, local fees, registration of death, change of deeds for property etc be paid out of his English Estate or would these costs be incurred by myself.
