    Probate

    Hello
    Does anyone know if I can submit the probate form if I haven't got all the information to submit the value of the estate yet as some searches are still ongoing or can I just estimate it and send it and change it when I get the information?

    Can you just estimate? depends!
    If there is no IHT to pay, and depending on the assets not yet valued, it will probably be accepted.

    Best course of action is to ask HMRC.. I found them quite helpful
