  • Private Will?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm hoping someone can help.....

My parents want to leave 2 people something in their will, however they really don't want them to know what each other has received.

Is there any way they can make a will private from the beneficiaries in this way? Or is that just a straight out flat 'no'?

    Thanks in advance!

Once the grant of probate is obtained the will becomes a public document and can be accessed by any member of the public, so the answer to your question is "no"
