    Just a light-hearted observation: my will was drawn up by a solicitor in 2000 and includes this sub-clause: "Words denoting any gender shall include both the other genders".

    One might infer from this that three genders were recognised in 2000! (Perhaps there were?) As a layman, I would have thought that it should read "Words denoting any gender shall include both genders".

    Today, of course, there are numerous genders with which people might identify, so I suppose the clause should read "Words denoting any gender shall include all genders".
