I do hope you legal eagles can throw some light on this. My son, a grown adult who’s a very gentle soul and does not wish to raise any issues, grandmother passed and he was to receive half the residual part of her estate after the house was sold. The grandmothers two remaining children are the executors, they have sent a paltry offer to my son which I feel is a meagre sum considering his grandmothers worth. Can I obtain a breakdown of account of the administration of the estate, and can I contest this offer on his behalf, he would never want to raise a fuss. Your help would be really appreciated
