    Hi new here and hope some one can help ,

    my brother and myself are executors for my late Mother’s will , the. Property has just sold and we are nor ready to carry out Moms wishes ,

    this has taken 18 months to sell the property so I understand that those recipients of cash gifts are due to be paid interest ,I can only find rates mentioned from 2016 of 0.1% is this the correct rate and where will I find the information if needed to prove .,,,, Many thanks hoping to pay everything out next Friday the 5th of June

    Rate is still 0.1%
    I think it is the court funds office where you find updates.
    It is sort of linked to Bank of England base rate , which has remain unchanged, so there has been no variation since its reduction in 2016

    Don't forget as personal representative you may have to pay tax on the interest
