Hi i am a due to get inheritance from my late fathers estate which has been financially completed and probate concluded. The reason Im being asked to sign a indemnity as far as I understand it to prevent further claims against the estate and the executor having to find monies claimed once distributed. Why in that case am I being asked to sign this Im receiving 25% along with my sister .. my brother is receiving 50% as per my fathers wishes my other brother is receiving none as he and my father did not get along for many years.. if my brother decides to put a claim in by signing the indemnity does this put me liable to cover costs in anyway ? Also do I have to sign the indemnity at all to receive my inheritance? *Thank you.*
