    Problems with solicitor

    I’ve had a few problems with my solicitor who is doing probate. They are part way through, but I’d prefer to move to another firm. Can I do this? Would they charge the full amount?

    You are able to change your solicitor if you wish. Their charges have to be reasonable. However, if you feel they are not acting correctly or their charges are excessive, contact the Law Society or the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
