    During,and after probate has been granted, but before disbursement, who actually owns any property named in the will?

    The Deceased's estate.

      In English law, the executor is the person that will own the deceased's estate temporarily with a license from the court, the granted probate, saying the "the estate ... devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased"
