Can anyone advise when a complete inventory must be submitted.

I am concerned as I am very aware that the inventory currently submitted is not complete, i.e. a sit on lawn mower has not been included, and the solicitors are stating that a final inventory will be provided when the house is sold. My biggest concern here is that items in the house which are not documented in the current inventory now, could 'disappear' or be sold or given away without the official beneficiiaries being aware

Legally when should the final inventory be submitted?

When the Estate administration is completed.
At that time the personal representative(s) should produce a final document detailing the Estate’s Accounts.

Thanks for this. So what happens at that point if there are omissions from the inventory, and subsequent estate valuation inconsistencies documented in the accounts?

If a beneficiary disputes the final accounts they may require the personal representative to deliver a full inventory of the estate and an account of the administration to the court for inspection.
