  • Link telephone calls

Hi, my first post and probably not my last.
I live with my partner and she is being chased by Link. A few days ago they rang saying they wanted to speak to her. They asked various questions but because I had been looking over this site I had told to say nothing except 'Only in writing'.

Today at 12 md the slime rang again, so I answered and just read aloud the basic letter about telephone harassment and that I would report them etc. This by the way worked on Capquest. They stopped ringing me. If they ring again I'll send the letter to them.

We await developments. But I wondered if because the telephone is in my name only and I pay the bill, can I have a go at them for a, calling somebody on my phone without my permission and b, obstructing me from using my phone as and when I want to.

    Thanks
    deltab

    Re: Link telephone calls

    Hiya

Well done with refusing to talk to them and requesting all contact in writing, its most definately the way forward.
Re having a go at them I am not entirely sure you will be in the right there, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable about it will pop along presently and have an opinion on that part. Anyways there's nothing to stop you 'having a go at them' if you so wish, but personally I wouldn't waste my breath on pondlife.
