Yesterday I had a call from 3 Mobile who I have a contract with...The guy asked if I ever had problems with my signal strength where I lived...I said YES it is terrible, my old phone with 3Mobile was a lot better and I did not like this new smart phone with its such bad signal....It can take me upto 20 times of trying to ring out to get connected, booking a doctors appointment is a hassle and stressfull...and as i have heart and spinal problems and have in the last month required an ambulance so I worry this phone may kill me if I have to try 20 times to ring 999 with chest pains...My old phone never had this problem.It is all to do with signal strength and phone design as one phone worked fine and now the new dont.
Any way this salesmen from 3 who rang me up said that 3 will give me Free of charge a devise that will boost the signal in my home to 4-5 bars at all times...I said yes please...That is what I need and expected anyway...He said its Free and only £3 a month on your monthly bill...I said are you joking, you want me to pay you more money so you can provide me with what you already should be?...I said if your phone is so bad then you should give this devise to all that suffer the 18month contract with you...Let alone now I have informed you yet again (did months ago about another matter) of my medical needs and need for a reliable phone connection I am further shocked you do not offer this free ,yet again, it should be free to all you fail.
The annoying thing is when my contract with them ends no doubt to keep me they will give me one, but for another 10 months i risk my health or am forced to pay more for what I thought I had already paid for.
Can I demand they provide me with this devise, somehow?...I feel cheated that they are using the fact there product is not good enough to generate more cash from there poor customers.
