  • Mobile Signal Problems?

If anyone is in the London/Essex area and on 02 PLEASE BE AWARE!!!

There is a major outage on a mast in the e17 area, which is causing intermittent signals..

PLEASE BE AWARE: 02 are aware of this outage and it is being dealt with as the highest priority!!

    .
    I'm afraid I'm all too aware :rolleyes2:

In fact I've suffered signals problems for a whole week on and off due to "planned maintenance" :cell:

I asked O2 to refund my line rental since I couldn't make/receive calls but they said "No" because it says in my Ts & Cs that they don't promise a signal. What's the point of paying for line rental if you can't use your phone

I did get a refund from Vodafone some years ago when the 'base' (that was the word they used) where I was living didn't work for nearly 2 weeks. Where I live now (which is just 3 or 4 miles away) the mobile signal is very poor, but there isn't much they can do about it, I have a landline and use the mobile mostly when I'm not home.

Not sure how good the signal is on other networks, I haven't tried to switch because they tend to do credit checks Vodafone don't do them because I've been with them since 2001.

But you told me you'd deleted them because they were too dirty and, besides, you didn't like caramel dessert sauce. msl:
