  • Who Called Me ?

    Hi all,
This is my first time on here.
I'm looking forward to reading some past posts, to get a feel of things.
Its great to know e can get either legal advice, or other peoples experiences to help each other out.

At the moment, I was googling for a number: 07731 764466 to see who called me.

There was some Asian voice on the other end, that didn't understand - or bother using - English.

I'm assuming its ppi or similar,,,, but if they won't speak English - they won't get very far !

all the best to you all

    Re: Who Called Me ?

What ever you do Furkin, do not be taken in with the high sales pitch, do not pay any upfront fees by giving a debit or credit card. Also, if they are calling from abroad possibly India then you would have no recourse if you agreed to go with them You sound sensible enough not to by what you wrote on your post. Puff Rose is brilliant at finding out all the information regarding these type of companies. Never divulge your name.

I would say if it is PPI and you have a reason to believe that you were mis-sold this type of policy it is very easy to do yourself and save the humongous commisions that reclaim companies charge. Here is a link to the PPI threads http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...nce-reclaiming

There are some experienced people in the PPI forums that can help you with you claim.

All the best and welcome to Legal Beagles.

It is from near Gunnore, India which suggests a call centre. Do not pass over any personal details! Treat with extreme caution.
