    If he's on a rolling contract, I've just gone with Virgin and for just £10 per month I get 1200 mins calls and 5000 texts as well as some (can't remember how much, but sufficient) internet use. It may be worth considering changing if you're on a rolling contract. I have found the network coverage excellent in comparison to my wife who is with.........Tesco!

    It's a 30 day rolling contract, so can be cancelled easily at any time.

      unfortunatly Labman, unless you have 500/600 pound lying about for the handset, all iphones are either 12/18/24 months contracts, and the provider is not obliged to release you from contract early because you have found a better deal. If the OP wishes to cancel, she is liable for the line rental until the end of her contract term, therefore: based on a 12 month contract, shes looking at £160. In my experience, iphones are mainly on 18/24 month contracts, but the wonders of tesco mobile anything is possible!

      I will look in to what I can and see what can be done.. however I must warn the OP that the chance of getting a back down is minimal.

      still.. if you can't do it today, thats what tomorrow is for.. wish me luck.

        Sorry, didn't read it properly and realise it was an iPhone. We've always had our usage capped - much easier, but for the OP, it doesn't solve the ridiculous policy of rounding up to 30 seconds. Sadly I feel not a lot can be done about that.

          Puff ... Are these real people or BOTs on the "live chat"? Recently I had a very strange "conversation" with one of these live chat helpers, where it appeared they were just picking up on certain key words, and not answering my query at all, which made me wonder if they were real or was I talking to a machine? lol

            as far as im aware they are real people, I know they are with o2.

            Theres nothing that can be done about the rounding up policy unfortunatly!
