Hi guys,
I am in a very similar situation as ZED were in. Moved from Sky to O2 and received my first bill from O2 and shocked to see I have been charged £43 for the taking over of the line from Sky to O2. It was never mentioned when I ordered the home phone+BB package over the phone and there is no email from O2 saying I will be charged such amount prior to the connection went active. So I phoned up after sales department and complained about this fee and she said I will get a call from O2 and I am waiting for it. I will keep you informed. I am in an exact situation ZED were in... Contacted O2 and complained about the line transfer fee £43 and they promised to give a call back the next five days. I now know what exactly tell them to get the fee cancelled after readinh through this forum. Thanks ZED and all... I will keep you informed... Thanks...Comment

As I understand it O2's broadband and landline customer base is in the process of being transferred to Sky. So, anvararhaja, you're back where you started, and £43 poorer.
