Thanks for that..........had 11 calls in the last week ..can hear "office noise" in the back ground but no-one speaks.

Either...

2. Get an air horn and blast that down the phone

Had a quick look on the web an one thing I found very intetesting was;
apparently DWP has an agreement/arrangement with GMC not to investigate 'doctors' employed by Atos.
correct me if I'm wrong but all drs should follow GMC's rules whoever employs them..

I've read somewhere that the fines for silent calls are being increased to some eye-watering amount, something like £2 million. In addition to OFCOM, contact the Information Commissioner's Office, as I believe they deal with with unsolicited telephone calls, too. Go to the ICO website for contact details and download a complaint form.
