    AOL

    I have had email access with AOL for many years, and have only just seen a small amount on my bank statement going out to the £3.99, but I have no idea what it is for, now the amount has changed and reads AOL/TALKTALK no idea what this is about and I have never asked for anything, I live in Spain now and have never had anything to do with talk talk.

    Has anyone got any ideas

      Did you used to have a "Dial-Up" internet connection with AOL by any chance??

      Reminder: AOL email is free! Check your bill for ancient subscription fees
      Is a long-forgotten AOL auto-payment still draining money from your account?
      You could try a SAR to AOL (asking for all the details they hold about you) ... this would cost £10, but it might help you find out if you signed up to a subscription service through AOL in the past xx
      Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

      It doesn't matter where your journey begins, so long as you begin it...

          TalkTalk bought out AOL UK some years ago. Not a great deal of faith in either of them

            No, I'm still having counselling for my run in with Talk Talk 8 years ago!
            "Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
