I;m a PAYG guy on EE but a friend wants to get out off a 2.5 year Vodafone contract she signed a few months ago. She says that the bank can't help her and Vodafone keep putting her off and refuse to talk about the get-out, derailing her every time she calls.

Any advice?

I don't understand, friend signed 30 month contract a few months ago and wonders why the bank won't help him/her get out of it - why would they?

Sorry, maybe I should have expanded a bit more. I asked if she had a direct debit but of course the agreement is arranged via Vodafone. I've told her she'll be looking at a buy-out and that it'll be costly.

I guess that's it.
