  • phonelines out for weeks - compo?

Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of compo we can realistically ask for - we've had both our residential line (on a critical care package - ie to be fixed within 6 hours, pmsl) and our business line (to be fixed at end of next working day, lol) out since the middle of May.

Internet has worked sporadically (hence my sporadic presence here).

BT has volunteered that they will need to compensate us financially - I was just wondering what we could reasonably expect?

Well cantou work out the figures for sales for 2013 and the equivalent period in 2014 that the critiould give you some sort of starting point . then any extra osts . eg postage wher e you would normally have rung or emailed. extra mobile phone costs . On the critical care package any extra costs for hiring or losses for your staying behind to care . plus some forthe distress and inconvenience . for a rough guess maybe costs and expenses plus £1500 to rub in the message .
