    Hi Commander

    Welcome to LB

If your property has gas supply, then you should be able to use gas to heat the property. Using electricity to heat is 'expensive'.

If you think you have been treated 'unfairly' then make complaints, if you have difficulty making complaints, contact CAB they have an Extra Help Unit.

Why was the gas supply capped in the first place? It's usually a safety issue in which case that would need fixing before the case supply could be reconnected.
