  • Commercial water - rights of entry

Does anyone know please if water company officials have a right of entry into commercial premises to investigate the "source" of the water supply (which has been there for probably 50 years)

A quick search suggests they probably do under ss168 - 170 Water Industry Act 1991 but I've no personal experience.

    Water Industry Act 1991 (legislation.gov.uk)
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.
