  • Three mobile charging for a contact I’ve never taken out

Hi I was with three mobile for about 20 years had 3 contacts 1 for myself and 1 for 2 daughters anyway I cancelled all 3 contracts months ago then I notice they was still taking money out of my account so I rang them up they said account are closed I don’t owe any money, so I said I wanted an explanation for why there taking money from my account still! 10 minutes later they got back to me saying it’s for a number I’ve never even heard of saying I have been paying for the number since September 2015 so nearly 9 years so I questioned the number and was told it’s not used ect I rang the said number and it’s not existing, anyway they was getting back to me about the said number I’m paying for that was 3 weeks ago not heard anything then this morning I’ve had a report from a credit reference agency saying 3 mobile has reported me for missed payments. Can anyone give me advise thanks Jason

    Hi JSFARKS

    Welcome to LB

Send Three Mobile a SAR. They have 30 days to provide all the information on the account, your the Mobile Number as the reference. Send you bank a SAR. They again have 30 days to provide all the information on your bank account. You can show all the payments being taken out. They should provide data for at least 6 years. I would lodge a formal complaint once you've got the SAR data, follow the complaints procedure on their website.
