  • Shared water supply

I am a lease holder and own my own maisonette. I share a water supply with my neighbor down stairs. He has the ability to turn my water off. Harrow Council are the Head Landlord.

Who is responsible for sorting out a separate water supply. Who is responsible to pay for it.

I don't know if I need to deal with the council or water company or both. Or is it up to Harrow Council lease hold department. Thank you.

If you contact your water department, they should be able to guide you further.

I suspect that the cost of arranging things will fall on you.
