  • Calor bulk gas account issues

Any advice would be really helpful please, so in sept I moved in to a new house with a bulk gas for heating, hot water ect so I contacted calor the current supplier to take over the supply,( the estate landlord had filled it prior to us moving in ) as we are in an initial 6 month tenancy was told I can’t set up a monthly budget payment plan with them just pre pay which is fine, However They insisted I sign a contract for 2 years or no gas top ups.
I have monitored the tank and basically as it’s just coming to half empty I request and pay in advance for half a tank to fill it up again they tell me it should be delivered within 7 days, 2 weeks later no gas despite calling every day now the tank has only 30 percent, basically the customer service has been really poor keep being told one thing by someone and something different by someone else. can I insist on a refund or arrange to get charge back ? And instruct flo gas to take over ? Or will I be in breech of contract
At the time as this was all new but as I’ve found out the hard way calor are also more expensive than other suppliers

Is the tank owned or rented? If it belongs to say: - calor, only calor will be able to fill it.

I'm wondering why you would sign a two-year contract when you only have a six-month tenancy?
