  • home rights scotland

I am trying to understand the process of home rights under Scottish Law. I did send the form to HMRC but they returned it saying i need to contact the ROS site, but I am finding it confusing. I am trying to leave a DV relationship but struggling to get somewhere to live for me and our son. The property is in other half name only but money from the sale of our previous property was used as despoit, and we pay a set amount into a joint account that the mortgage comes from, along with me paying personally into repairs, as they refuse to do anything. Do i need to get a solicitor involved in the process?

    Thank you.

I'm sure someone here has the answer, but CAB Scotland might know for sure.
