  • Parking fines going though Simple procedure

I had multiple PCN'S a few years ago, ignored all letters. Now I have been sent a Simple procedure. I need advice on how to tackle this. Can anyone help?

Is this still ongoing? I note the date you posted this is June, which makes me think the response date shall be well past.

I believe, although I don't pretend to be an expert on the matter, that it has a slightly wider remit than just "small claims" in the sense of the phrase for the English law system, as it can be used to obtain delivery of moveable property, or to make someone do something specific, as long as it has an alternative monetary value less than £5k.

For example, if you had bought a vehicle on finance but couldn't make repayments and the amount owing was less than £5k, the finance company could take you to court to deliver the vehicle to them.
