  • Voluntary Termination of vehicle

My OH has been on sick leave since May 2019.* We emailed the finance company in October to voluntary terminate his car agreement - and on advice from here didn't sign the form agreeing to pay any additional money.* We did not get a reply and a further months payment came out.* We then resent a signed copy of the form which they acknowledged.* On collection we signed electronic document that there was minor repairs totalling £249 but that we disagreed with these and should be fair wear and tear.* We advised a payment had come out after our initial email to voluntary terminate but they say as form was unsigned it could have been anyone contacting them so are unwilling to deduct that (£220) from the repair costs that we disagreed with.*
Can I have thoughts please on our next course of action.*
    Thank you
