Reported to eBay for fraud 16-Sep-14 at 03:00

Vehicle Scam #175 for September 2014 (all on eBay UK)

Scam total now 12,120since April 2013

    *******

The people behind the above scam have created a dummy, throw-away eBay account.

These same people have copied and pasted the images shown in the scam from a genuine advertisement from days, weeks or months ago

Any emails sent to the dummy eBay account will - until the scam is shut down - be intercepted by the scammers

Any email enquiries will generate a response asking the interested party to communicate by an independent email address (i.e. outside eBay)

The scammers will say that it is not possible to view the vehicle

Instead, full payment will be demanded and free delivery will be promised

Payments will be paid into a fictitious ESCROW account

    Common question:-

"How do you know this is a scam?"

Because here is the original eBay listing from September 2013
The scammers copied the advert and slashed the price in half
