I am going to RAM this pc

Ok, i need to upgrade the ram on this here pc, its my work one so is a bit neglected.

What i need to know is what type of ram i need to buy, there appears to be about 15 different types for sale.

I will be looking for a deal on ebay so want to get it right, so essentially my question is

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF RAM I HAVE?

What computer have you got?

OK, done!

IT offered me all the different options i had seen, but what i need to look out for is EEC memory whatever that may be, and stick to that.

Stevo, go to crucial memory, they have a little programme that looks at what you have and tells you what you need.

Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com

well still no ram upgrade.

Phoned on monday, emailed today, item has been despatched, might be lost in the post.

Need to wait till 13th aparently and if its still not here they will despatch a replacement.

do we have a drumming fingers smiley?
