Windows Live Mail 2011 problem

For the last few days I have pressed the button on the keyboard for Mail and it appears to load and show new mail on the icon on the thingymebob at the bottom but doesn't load the page at all and seems to still show as starting.

I've uninstalled windows live mail and reinstalled it but still the same problem.

anyone got a clue how to resolve this issue?

Firstly check the setup for your keyboard shortcut.
Do you have a "normal" shortcut to windows live mail ?
They have recently updated live to 2011 version and it's slow as toffe on a cold day..

Oh dear good old reliable Microsoft again is it Perhaps check where your button is linked to properly incase the hyperlink isn't in correctly, Thats how mine worked anyhow?

Sorry Im not of much use - But i would check my installs.

Is there an idiots guide to sorting this cos once I know what I am looking for I can usually fix it.....

Normally for programmable keyboards there's an icon in the task bar that controls the shortcuts. That's where you'll find the setup for this.

Amy, if this was on "normal" Win7 it would be dead easy
