Model numbers on pooters

Hiya peeps,

Well its come to that time and my pooter needs the memory upgrading. Now last time we did this we got a computer company in and it cost us a fortune. But now we have an IT litterate friend who does this for a living, and as we are moving to new office in the next couple of weeks, we really need to get everything up and running all lovely like, but firstly he wants me to find the model numbers on the pooters, so off I go under the desk with a torch and lo and behold what do I see but LOADS OF FLAMING NUMBERS.

My question is ....... how can I tell which of the numbers is the model number ? Answers in plain english please.

Control Panel > Systems & Maitenance > System

will give basic information

What you do is invite him round for a drinky to say thank you for helping us...then make him go upstairs and find the number himself

Tried that last night Mocha, he ended up playing with the puppy for so long, then he and Les were late for their lodge, all ended up with himself arriving home at 1.30 this morning stinking of Magners and dodgy kebabs.

So its plan B now.

this might help go to this site and download something called CPUID it will give all the info about your computer. The link is about half way down called cpu-z hope this helps.
