    Loan scam

    My grandson applied for a loan and was asked to pay some money first, not sure of the whole amount but he has had amounts taken out of his bank around £900, all within a few days. i have no idea why he chose this particular company, but its obviously a scam, they were goping to find him smeone who would let him have a large loan to buy a motorhome, the name that is shown on his bank account is "miss Linda? he has tried to get back in touch but cant find the original company
    Has nyone heard of this person

    Hi Valerie, how did he contact them? Does he have any company names or emails from them. If they are continuing to take money from his account he must get in touch with his bank to prevent any further payments going out to them.

    It sounds like it may have been a loan broker, if you have a search round our forum you will find lots of information and stories about these types of companies

      Get a charge back done as soon as possible £900 is outrageous for brokerage charges.
