Have you spoken to your bank and that of the receiving account? Which banks were involved?

Contacted our bank who contacted TSB who received the transfer and the account was frozen but probably too late - no news on that yet

OK thanks, I know it is difficult and confusing for you. As you will have probably gathered reading through the numerous scam threads on here you are not alone and it is sadly very common, it does not necessarily mean you are, as your chosen username suggests, "Gullible". These scammers are clever and know what buttons to press to convince victims.

Email hasn't come through yet, can you double check the address you sent it to and in the meantime post up the account details on this thread so Google can pick up on it to warn others, as you found by searching "Alice's" email address.

My parents have been a victim of this only on Sunday, my dad had just realised yesterday it was fraud and 2.3k has came out of his bank yesterday!!
Is there ANY chance of getting the money back?!!
We have contacted the police and will be speaking to them tomorrow :/

Can you get me the account details as soon as possible please, the quicker you get them for me the more chance we have of freezing the account whilst funds are still in there, although funds are normally withdrawn within a couple of hours.

Immediate details I need are

• Bank
• Account Number
• Sort code
• Amount
• Beneficiary Name
