With all these sham vehicle auctions on eBay, are the reg. plates always visible as on the trike pictured above? What’s the story with the DVLA? Can’t you get a vehicle you are about to purchase checked out to see if it is stolen, financed etc.?

Yes PAWS, however the vehicles are not stolen, the seller simply does not have them to sell. Any HPI, DVLA or Police checks would come back clean. See here http://www.scamaccounts.co.uk/

Just to update everyone, after several discussions with Barclays and [MENTION=56019]jshsasgscs[/MENTION], I've strongly encouraged him to contact Barclays as soon as possible. Hopefully he will update us with further developments.
