  • Police attended property (not mine)

    Hi,

    A quick question hopefully.

The Police have apparently attended a friends house (yes a friend of mine ) but have not left a card or any request to contact them, they were simply seen on security cameras.

They have my friends contact details (phone number / email address etc) but have made no attempt to contact via this route, and a call to 101 proved fruitless as they had no record
of a visit or reasons for getting in touch.

    Any advise or guidance appreciated

Give a copy of the cctv to your local chief of police and insist they investigate

They may have been asking if your friend had seen something as part of an investigation? Why would they have your friend's contact details?
