  • How long after Solicitor is looking for receipts for expenses?

    Hi
my Solicitor said he was send off my medical reports/notes to the other side a few weeks back and now she is looking for any receipts I have for expenses.
do you think they have agreed on a figure for damages and are trying to sort out the expenses?
how long does this normally take to sort out?
    thanks

Why not just ask your solicitor! I'm not sure how we could know the answer to that but he will. Keeping you updated is what you pay him for.

How long does it take to negotiate a claim for damages for personal injury, one we have no details at all about? How long is a piece of string?
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.

He could be making sure that every possible item is included in the claim. It is surely better to ask now and not in several months' or years' time.

I have a piece of string on my desk. It is 16cm.
