Hello,
Can anyone advise.
Over the last 2 years I have sadly needed to start 3 personal injury claims for unrelated reasons, (1) I was attacked (2) car crash (3) had a fall
I was contacted today by my solicitor dealing with the last claim (3) fall, and as part of their procedures have requested my medical info which is fine, however, my GP has written to them and complained, advising them that this was the third time they have been requested to provide my medical information.
Under Dr/Patient confidentially laws, am I right in thinking this is a breach of that law, as they have absolutely no business sharing this information with any third party without my consent?
Any advise is much appreciated.
