NHS admits causing concussion

I have been suffering concussion for the last 7 weeks following an incident caused in an NHS hospital. Basically a door was opened into my face after viewing windows were covered with Christmas Paper. The NHS have admitted liability. What can I expect. I did have a solicitor lined up but they were so disorganised I have dropped them. The Hospital have written to me to discuss compensation and want me medical records to assess levels of compensation. My GP advised concussion can last up to 8 weeks and that certainly seems to be the case. After seeing my GP I have had a second visit and also called 111 and required a CT scan. After the incident I was sick for about 2 weeks and am still suffering head aches and slightly blurred vision*
Any help much appreciated and advise on compensation I can expect to be offered and what I should ask for

Hi I have now recently visited my GP for a general check up and he asked if I had had a bang to my face S during checks X-ray showed my tooth and root have fractured !!
i don’t currently have a solicitor representing me but was wondering what advise anyone can give re next steps.*
aside from still having these headaches I know have a 2k bill to extract this tooth and will need a bridge !!

The reason for no response is that you are already in discussion with NHS who have admitted liability.

Without knowing exactly how the concussion has affected you it is impossible to give an idea of quantum except to say general guidelines are between just under £2000 to in excess £10,000 for minimal injuries.
If you are suffering pcs it could be more as the symptoms could last for more than a year (so don't be ready for a quick settlement)
To this you can add your dental costs (if you can prove the damage was from that same incident) plus more if it involved pain and discomfort.

Really you need a specialist solicitor unless you can do your own research taking into account your medical records and are good at negotiating.
