  • Right to police evidence?

For the past 18 months police have been investigating historical sexual abuse inflicted on me at school. Unfortunately, they found two of the former teachers who raped me are now deceased. The remaing teacher molested me in his sports car on the way to a school football match but police say it's my word against his. Now the investigation and my request for a review are over do I have the right to get copies if the evidence the police obtained during their investigation? I'm thinking witness statements and my three hour filmed evidence? I want to.pursue a civil case against the remaining teacher as he instigated the whole saga. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

No chance without a court order in civil proceedings. Even then, court unlikely to grant such an Order.
