  • Settlement Figure

I recently had a car accident (non fault) which resulted in injuries, the 3rd party insurer wants to settle direct with me, which I am happy to do providing it's fair.
The doctor has written shoulder injury (recovery within 3 months), neck injury (recovery within 3months), and psycological effects (recovery within 6 months) which I will agree with.
The question I have is does the settlement figure increase for each additional problem noted? I have a good idea of the general setttlement figures for just a neck injury, but I'm unsure how the shoulder & psycological affect this. Just trying to avoid having the wool pulled over my eyes by the insurer...and yes I will seek to appoint a solicitor if the offer appears to be unfair.

    Thanks

    Actuarial tables used: https://www.gov.uk/government/public...jury-and-death

More user friendly for the layman: https://www.gov.uk/government/public...jury-and-death

And, yes, you receive compensation for eg loss of employment once, but separate calculations for pain for each injury
