  • V5 Document when VT

    Hi Guys,

Just signed up and I have sent over my Voluntary Termination request based on your templates which is excellent.

All going through very well with BMW I have to say. They have asked me to send my V5 and MOT Cert to them prior to collection.

What do i do with the v5? Surley I cannot give them the whole document?

The V5 usually required 2 signatures and I wouldn't send it to them have their agent sign it on their behalf when the car is collected or alternatively you could get assurances from them that the DVLA will be notified they are the registered keeper and if they fail to do so then you are entitled to take action against them. I would however choose the first option as less hassle
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
