  • Car finance with adverse credit

    hi all,

not sure if this post belongs in here!

my brother is looking to lease/buy a car but he has ccj's, does anybody know any companies who are not total sharks who offer finance for adverse credit?

or is there a forum where i can look for this?

    thanks!

Re: Car finance with adverse credit

There's plenty of companies who offer guaranteed finance, usually as they have their own in-house finance. Inevitably you pay more interest, as you would expect with adverse credit.

Usually they tend to deal with ex-company cars, and all that is required is proof of ID and proof of income.

A word of warning though, there must be a reason he has the CCJ's. If they are struggling financially, the last thing they need to do is take on a further commitment that they can't afford. It's very easy to convince yourself you can (if you're like me!) and then you soon discover otherwise.

Sorry, I only know of one that I would use which is local to me. I learnt the hard way with them about overstretching myself, but they were VERY understanding. I know of quite a few others who have also used this company.

They would only be of use if you live near or in South Wales though.

        Sorry.
