A carer had her car clamped as she tried to help a severely disabled girl into her vehicle.
Hannah Pilka picks up five-year-old Harriet Phillips when she is dropped off by the school bus outside the girl's home at Gunwharf Quays.

A short 'tour of duty' in Afghanistan would be very good for these people!!

I originally understood their inception (traffic wardens/clampers) was to clear traffic problem hotspots through 'some people' having no regard for others in their selfish requirement to dump their cars where only convenient for themselves. The added value I was under the impression, was to also generate income for the local councils, (maybe justifiable??) however, only reporting upon my own experiences in most major cities in this beautiful land, I only came across PRIVATE COMPANIES operating the clamping....the amount of money then required to get your car back is nothing short of EXTORTION......am I correct that there is some Government code of conduct in place????

This lady should write to Cameron directly.....he has been through enough problems of his own to see how wrong this is. he might just do something about it.
