  • VT, HP on a Used Car

    Question for the masses.

3yrs ago i bought a Tesla Model S from Cazoo used with 28k miles on.

    HP through Alphera.

I've just VT'd it, and have had all the letters through talking about excess milage charges and fair wear and tear outside of the guidelines etc.

I'm fairly clear that on the HP agreement there is no mileage allowance but less clear on the damages.

The car has a number of minor marks and a wheel scuff.

I only did the scuff, the marks were there when i bought it, bear in mind it was 3 years old then.

Have they got any recourse for sending me a bill for repairs on a used car?

    Many thanks

    Hi Davethebunny

    Welcome to LB

Below is a guide, did you take pictures before purchase and after termination?

Nevertheless, read the guide, then make your case to the finance company.
Follow their complaints procedure which will be on their website.
