Yes I did send a letter, hence their contact I suspect. Before they were only referring me for warranty service, with the nearest appointment Dec or most likely Jan 2025.
However If the car is properly repaired I would like to keep it. But I need time to test it hence my question.

if repair does not solve the issue, you have the right to a refund. NB this applies within 6 months of purchase. s24 Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

Thank you for all your help.
The dealer has accepted the rejection, just awaiting written confirmation.
Its not a legal matter but when I hand the car over should I transfer ownership to the dealership?
I probably should do it myself as I dont want any tickets.
