Hi, in need of a bit of advice. I did a vt on my car on the 11/08/24 having paid 50% off. Maheim inspected the car & told me the charges owed would be £466.55. Damages included incomplete service history which I’ve kept upto date but the previous keepers service history i did not have. Alloy wheels scuffed, a small dent which can only be seen with the black & white striped card which they used. Small stone chips on bonnet & a black wrap sticker at the bottom on the front valance. When I signed the pda I put that I did not agree with the charges. Anyway fast forward to now I’ve had an email today from mobilize financial services stating that the money owed must be paid within the next 14 days with no option to query repairs with them. The car is a 2019 reg with 100000 miles on the clock. Where do I stand do I just pay up or do I have a case? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi
Welcome to LB
Please see "A guide to voluntary termination: Your rights" under SHORTCUTS on the right of this page
There are letter templates and there is one that disputes the finance company's claim for additional payment due to the condition of the vehicle.
Your car is 5 years old and very high mileage for its age. You should argue that the minor defects are fair wear and tear
